Last November, a very good friend of mine, A. Tad Chamberlain asked me to read a short film script that he had written because he thought I would be great to play the role of Mistress Mayhem, who is the Domme girlfriend of the lead character. The film is called “Anti-Samaritan Hotline.” It is a twisted and dark comedy about BDSM and suicide. I was thrilled to be considered for the part and accepted the offer. The film wasn’t to begin shooting until mid-May. This gave us plenty of time to prepare.

As the time got closer to production, we made plans to use some of the “toys” from my actual dungeon as props for the film. I was given a long list of items, and although I was not sure what they were going to be used for, I allowed them to use anything they wanted to make the film appear very realistic.

The first day of shooting, I met slave jim, or rather the actor who played my slave, jim. Soon after I arrived on set, this large, round man was dressed in a PVC French maid’s costume, white fishnet stockings, latex cleaning gloves, a black thong, and a custom-made costume ball mask, his long hair in pigtails and done up with Renaissance-era French makeup (white face paint, bowtie red lipstick, with a large mole on the cheek). What a sight he was.

A lot of the crew were very nice and super inquisitive about what it is that I do. During lunch Tad, slave jim and I came up with a bizarre idea about what to do to slave jim during our brief scene together, which we implemented — much to the shock and surprise of several of the crew members. On a different day, I also let them record the sound of one of my sessions with my own slave that was later dubbed over two other scenes in the film as off-screen audio.

The short film is in post-production now. I will invite my close friends to the premier when it is completed in September. There are plans to enter it in the Sundance, Slamdance, and CineKink Film Festivals, as well as several others. More to come…

 6/12/09 I was invited to be an in-studio guest on the Kevin & Bean show (on KROQ 106.7 FM). I arrived at the station at 8:15am and was on the air by 8:30am. My pet and I talked about the BDSM lifestyle to the mainstream public. I have gotten a lot of positive response from friends and people in the fetish community who happened to be listening to the show that particular morning. It was such a cool experience for me since I have been listening to Kevin & Bean since high school.

We talked about the fetish scene and took questions from callers. Everyone in studio really enjoyed having us on. The interview was funny, and put a positive light on what it is that we do behind closed doors.

They originally asked me on to discuss the dangers of autoerotic asphyxiation in light of the recent and tragic celebrity death of David Carradine. The point of inviting us was to talk about BDSM and the safety issues related to this particular fetish. I wanted to break away from the negative stereotypes and show how normal we really can be.

Everyone in the studio was very welcoming. They all seemed to be genuinely interested in what we had to say. It was during the commercial breaks that I got to use some of my instruments on Ralph and it got pretty wild. I think Ralph is a bit of a kinkster, or at least curious. Kevin was more vanilla but towards the end, he did warm up to the idea of having a pet of his own. lol

Time flew and before we knew it, our segment was up. It was a very memorable experience for me. Here’s hoping that they will have us back on the show for future fetish talks.
